A six day, comprehensive training programme concentrating purely on quality issues in raw cotton. It will provide you with thorough training - from the classification of cotton from various growths to practical HVI training on the latest Uster 1000 Machine or Premier ART2, as well as information on other testing equipment.
With a maximum of 16 participants taking part, the programme promises a more interactive and personal learning experience. We also have the flexibility to tailor the course to meet many special requirements.
The programme is aimed at individuals who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge in cotton classing and testing and is particularly suitable for merchants, growers and the textile industry.
The programme incorporates a wide range of topics delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen and the Bremen Fibre Institute (FIBRE). See the list of modules.
Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the course from ICA Bremen which will act as proof of your qualification in cotton classification.
The next programme will run in 2017 at Bremer Baumwollboerse (BBB) in Bremen, Germany. The exact date is yet to be confirmed.
The cost of the 2017 training programme is yet to be confirmed. As guidance, here are the costs for the 2016 training programme which took place in June. For ICA or BBB members, the cost was €900 (+VAT where applicable). For non-members the cost was €1,100 (+VAT where applicable).
