what is ICA Bremen's classing & testing training?

A six day, comprehensive training programme concentrating purely on quality issues in raw cotton. It will provide you with thorough training - from the classification of cotton from various growths to practical HVI training on the latest Uster 1000 Machine or Premier ART2, as well as information on other testing equipment.

With a maximum of sixteen participants taking part, the programme promises a more interactive and personal learning experience. We also have the flexibility to tailor the course to meet many special requirements.

 

who should attend?

The programme is aimed at individuals who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge in cotton classing and testing and is particularly suitable for merchants, growers and the textile industry.

 

what is included in the programme?

The programme incorporates a wide range of topics delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen and the Bremen Fibre Institute (FIBRE).

Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the course from ICA Bremen which will act as proof of your qualification in cotton classification.

 

where and when is the next course taking place?

The next programme will run in 2019 at Bremer Baumwollboerse (BBB) in Bremen, Germany.

 

what is the cost?

The cost for the 2019 trainng is yet to be confirmed.

In 2018, the ticket price for ICA or BBB members was  €950 (+VAT where applicable). For non-members the cost was €1,150 (+VAT where applicable).

Ticket prices included training and training materials; refreshments on working days; a visit to the local warehouse; a welcome meal on the first day and a farewell meal towards the end of the course.
