ICA Bremen will deliver two industry leading training courses in 2020: Cotton Classing & Testing training and Learning about Machinery training.
The seven-day Cotton Classing & Testing training course will take place from June 2nd – June 10th, 2020 in Bremen, Germany.
This comprehensive training programme will concentrate on quality issues in raw cotton providing delegates with in-depth knowledge - from the classification of cotton from various growths to practical HVI training plus single fibre based testing such as AFIS through to examples of yarn testing.
Karsten Froese of ICA Bremen explains: “Our 2020 Cotton Classing & Testing training will continue to concentrate on the quality of raw fibre and the different aspects of quality evaluation. Like previous years, our participants will always receive personal attention to meet their individual needs.”
A maximum number of sixteen participants able to take part in this collaborative yet personal ‘Cotton Classing & Testing’ programme
The two-day Learning about Machinery training course will be delivered in association with the Deutsche Institute für Textil- und Faserforschung Denkendorf (DITF), Germany’s largest centre of textile research. This course will take place from June 16th – June 17th at DITF in Denkendorf, Germany.
DITF’s Dr.-Ing Sibylle Schmied said: “DITF is the only textile research facility in Europe to cover the entire production and value chain of textiles on an area of more than 25,000 m². The industrial-scale pilot plants enable application-oriented research across the entire textile production chain at one location.
The Learning about Machinery training will give attendees an overview of the entire textile process needed to make a fabric out of bales. It covers areas such as spinning, weaving, knitting, nonwovens, finishing & functionalization and garment manufacturing. In addition to the presentations, there will be a focus on the latest DITF research in the relevant areas and an explanation of processes directly on the machines - which should be a unique and valuable experience for participants.”
These training courses are aimed at individuals who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge in cotton classing, testing and textile machinery.
Like previous years, delegate places are limited so early registrations are always strongly advised.
