Learning about Machinery Training


What is ICA Bremen's 'Learning About Machinery' training?

In association with Deutsche Institute für Textil+ und Faserforschung Denkendorf (DITF), this two day training course covers a range of textile areas including; spinning, weaving, knitting and finishing. Delegates will even get to see the machinery used at DITF, Germany’s largest centre of textile research.


Who should attend?

The programme is aimed at individuals of all ages with an interest in textile machinery and is particularly suitable for merchants, growers and the textile industry.


What is included in the programme?

The programme incorporates a wide range of topics delivered by industry experts from DITF. These include: 

  • Spinning
  • Weaving
  • Finishing and Functionalization
  • Knitting
  • Nonwovens
  • Garment Production

The training also includes detailed explanations at the machines.


Where and when will the course take place?

Unfortunately, the current situation has lead us to make the difficult decision to cancel our Learning about Machinery Training for this year.

What is the cost?

The ticket price for ICA or BBB members is €800 (+VAT where applicable). For non-members the ticket price is €900 (+VAT where applicable).

Ticket prices included training, training materials, lunch and refreshments during training days. 

Please note: this cost is exclusive of accommodation and travel.
