What is ICA Bremen’s ‘Learning About Machinery’ training?

In association with Deutsche Institute für Textil+ und Faserforschung Denkendorf (DITF), this two-day training course covers a range of textile areas including spinning, weaving, knitting and finishing. Delegates will even get to see the machinery used at DITF, Germany’s largest centre of textile research.

What is included in the programme?

The programme incorporates a wide range of topics delivered by industry experts from DITF. These include:

  • Spinning
  • Weaving
  • Finishing and Functionalisation
  • Knitting
  • Nonwovens
  • Garment Production

The training also includes detailed explanations at the machines.

The programme is aimed at individuals of all ages with an interest in textile machinery and is particularly suitable for merchants, growers and the textile industry.

Unfortunately, the current situation has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel our Learning about Machinery Training for this year.

The ticket price for ICA or BBB members is €800 (+VAT where applicable). For non-members the ticket price is €900 (+VAT where applicable).

Ticket prices included training, training materials, lunch and refreshments during training days.
